Egyptian director Mohammad Khan is endlessly trying to convince prominent Egyptian actress Njla Fathi to return back to the scenes by nominating her for a leading role in his upcoming television drama series “Rijal Raya wi Skeena” (The men of Raya and Skeena). Mohammad has revealed that he is hoping that Najla’s return to the scenes will be through his series, in which Mohammad Naser is writing the scenario.

Najla had recently regained her physical strength after a heart surgery she underwent in France. Fathi began looking through a number of scripts she has received in order to face the camera once more after an absence that has lasted for many years. The actress is keen on choosing the right offer which will adds to her long history of success and is up to her standards.

One of the offers Najla received was from Egypt’s Middle East radio station for a leading role in a drama series that would be aired during the month of Ramadan over the radio. The actress has not given her acceptance to any work so far and insists on needing more time to make the right decision for which work she wants to accept to make her grand return in.

Fathi returned home from France after undergoing medical treatment, which lasted for 25 days, after experiencing a sever heart attack. The actress had tests made to ensure that her heart is functioning properly and that she is in good health. Najla underwent the tests in a private hospital in Paris, and was accompanied by her husband and daughter. Fathi had experienced a severe heart attack that forced her to head off to Paris to see if she needed to undergo heart surgery. The actress was at first taken to a local hospital in Egypt, but doctors said that an immediate operation to change her arteries needs to be done, and so her husband sent her off to be treated. –Albawaba.com
