In front of an audience of more than fifteen thousand fans, Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias held a spectacular performance in the heart of Beirut. At the concert, Enrique wooed and flirted with Lebanese women, who are considered the most beautiful in the world, and then sat on his knees and said ‘I Love Beirut’.
The 37 year old singer sang for over an hour and a half wearing his cap the entire time amidst a cloud of white smoke accompanied by his band that is composed of seven members.
Enrique launched the concert with the song ‘Tonight I’m Loving You’, then he crooned the songs ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Bailamos’ along with the many others.
The audience was very interactive with Enrique and they sang along with all of his songs while dancing the night away.
Enrique thanked all of his fans and said that it had been a very long time since his last performance in Lebanon.
The singer, who is considered one of the best looking singers, flirted with the female audience and jokingly said, ‘I had a Lebanese girlfriend in the past, but she left me and tonight I am a single man’.
He added that his father legendary singer Julio Iglesias had told him before coming to Lebanon, ‘Are you ready to go to Beirut where the most beautiful women in the world live?’
During the concert, Enrique walked between the fans and picked out a woman and danced with her holding her and then kissing her while singing his popular hit ‘Hero’. The woman had apparently experienced a dream come true and became the envy of every other female.
At the end of the concert, Enrique sat on his knees and bid his fans and Beirut farewell and promised he will return once more.
