ALBAWABA - American indie singer and songwriter Ethel Cain went viral on social media after taking to her official Instagram and reportedly defending UnitedHealthCare CEO murder suspect Luigi Mangione.

Two weeks ago, UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was found dead outside the Hilton hotel in Manhattan after being fatally shot several times in the back by an unknown individual. One of the suspects is a 26-year-old University of Pennsylvania graduate, named Luigi Mangione.

According to the BBC, 26-year-old Luigi Mangione was taken into custody after being spotted by a customer at a McDonald's chain in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Local police reported that Mangione was found in possession of a 3D-printed ghost gun and a letter that specified, "motivation and mindset".

Moreover, a new video showcased the suspect being led to court by local police for his trial over being charged with murder and four other counts.

Not only Ethel Cain, but many of her fans agreed with the sentiment demanding the release of Mangione:
