Did you know that once upon a time, Egyptian actor Ezzat Abou Aouf was in a band? Neither did we!

In a guest appearance on TV host Midhat al Adel's talk show "Inta Hur" (It's Up to You), the silver fox revealed that his biggest regret was breaking up his 1970's band "The Four M," reported Laha magazine.

The multi-talented actor said that his three siblings were members in the band, because he couldn't think of any better performers to join him, adding that he was severely depressed when they called it quits!

"I was at home when my sisters approached me and began to sing. That's when I realized that the talent I found in them could not be found in anyone else. My mother agreed. At the time I was afraid of my father's reaction to having my sisters sing in my band, but my mother assured me that she would convince him to let them do it.

"When my mother told my dad, she asked him to listen to us perform before making up his mind, but he was not convinced. I told him that I had signed a three-month contract; he gave his permission then and we kept the band going for an entire year. As time passed by, our social commitments forced the breakup of the band, and we all regret it to this day," Ezzat said.

Ezzat is famous for his role as Lebanese singer Myriam Fares' older husband in the Ramadan 2014 hit TV series "Ittiham" (Accusation), but we think that it's never too late to pick up the microphone and sing again!
