After being away from the spotlight for sometime, Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker made a strong comeback with his latest album "Ya Ghaib" (Far Away). Fadel was the guest on the LBC (Lebanese Broadcasting Company) satellite channel show "Sa'a Bi Kurb Al Habib" (An Hour By My Love's Side), which the lower was considered one of the most controversial episodes ever.

The incident last year of Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi's bodyguard hitting a journalist in Dubai for negatively criticizing the singer openly, has prompted the attack on journalists as an easy and common target.

According to the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh, Fadel openly expressed his opinion saying that the singing and acting world is filled with filth. After making such a statement that hurt a number of female singers, he was not willing to confront anyone who had a different opinion. The singer also added that most singers deserve to be bashed by journalist and simply said "He, who knocks the door, should expect a reply".

Despite his opinion, Fadel refused to take make comments regarding what he had said on the show. The singer added that he will personally use force against any journalist who will attempt to negatively criticize him. Fadel noted that he will take matters into his own hands rather than taking the issue to court and waste his precious time.

It is apparent that Nawal gave the green light for actors to abuse journalists in any matter they wished since no legal actions have ever been taken. -Albawaba.com
