Settle down, Fairouz fans; the iconic singer is NOT performing in Egypt this summer.
Sadly, it's fake news.
Someone made up a rumor claiming that the Lebanese superstar will be performing in Cairo for Eid Al Adha after a 28-year hiatus, adding that it will be broadcast on Live TV, as well.
However, Fairouz's daughter, Rima Rahbani, has stricly denied the news.
Rima took to Facebook to make fun of the rumor, while criticizing those who have time to waste on such things.
