Jason Derulo is no one hit wonder. And you don't realise it until you've been to one of his concerts!

The American singer dished out one hit after the other during his energetic performance at the Dubai Music Week on Wednesday night.

The gig was packed out with excited fans on the first of three Music Week concerts, including Ellie Goulding on Thursday night and 30 Seconds to Mars on Friday.

Jet lag? What jet lag!

Despite having endured a 14-hour flight all the way from the US, Derulo kicked off the event at 9.45pm.

Jet-lagged or not, Derulo took to the mic and delivered Wiggle, Marry Me, Talk Dirty, Whatcha Say, Trumpets, In My Head, Ridin’ Solo, Want to Want Me and a slew of other hits like there was no tomorrow.

According to Gulf News, Derulo's performance was so electrifying that he had to change his tank top three times after a lot of crazy dancing and high-pitch singing during his hour-long set.

This was the vibe at Derulo's concert according to reporter Marwa Hamad of Gulf News,

"The acoustics at the venue were admittedly lacking — his voice sounded blown out most of the time and his intra-song speeches got lost in the noise — but the show’s zest made up for it. A Dubai regular, Derulo was into it, his dancers were into it, his DJ (no live band) was into it and, most importantly, the crowd, sparse at the back and packed at the front, was definitely into it. As Drake would say — Derulo does it for the city because he knows the city’s loving it."

On Friday, American band Thirty Seconds to Mars brought the house down on the third night of the Dubai Music Week, after giving fans a two-hour non-stop performance filled with excessive jumping, multiple theatrics, so many selfies, flashing lights and brightly-coloured balloons.
