Facebooking their super posh set up on board their Etihad Airways flight to Abu Dhabi, "Fast & Furious 7" stars Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez were two of many other cast and crew members that have now made their way onto Middle East soil.
Filming has commenced for the high speed franchise's seventh edition with all hands on deck, sadly excepting the late Paul Walker who passed away unexpectedly last fall. His memory is living on in the hearts of his colleagues as each of them have paid tribute to him in some way or another.
Tyrese posted a pic sporting a jersey with Walker's name on it as he surveyed the UAE seashore, captioning the photo with, "I come here feel the energy of the ocean and all I think of is my brother..... Were gonna make you proud P-Dubber!!!"
Jordana Brewster, who played Paul's wife in the franchise, shared her heavy feelings with E! News about returning to filming without her on-screen spouse, "I'm sure it will be very bittersweet...We all just want to honor Paul going back...I'm looking forward to being back with the Fast family, but there's definitely a key element missing."
It appears the stars are still trying to make the best of the experience abroad. Tyrese has kept fans up-to-date with the fun to be had in Abu Dhabi, posting images playing golf, riding in a helicopter, and laughing with Shiek Hamdam at the Julius Bar Beach Polo Cup.
Gulf News reported that Michelle was also spotted at the Polo Cup, wearing a Beastie Boys shirt and snapping pictures with excited fans.
"Fast & Furious 7" is slated to hit the cinema screens on April 10, 2015.
