The Nawal El Saadawi Forum will meet for the 28th time on Saturday, July 22nd. The meeting will take place at the Heliopolis Library in Cairo.
Researcher Nadeen Jameel will open the monthly forum with her analysis of El Saadawi’s book Zeina, which will be followed-up further analysis from researcher Mohammed Hisham.
El Saadawi herself will be attending and discussing her works, Egypt’s political and social situation, the need for an intellectual revolution in Egypt, and the need to interpret religion in terms more comfortable with a modern age.
