Cat was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the soft tissues of the body, in 2022. She underwent multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments, and announced that she was cancer-free in July 2022. She married her longtime partner, Jake, in a small ceremony, and celebrated her life with her son, Loren.
However, the cancer returned in June 2023, and spread to her lungs, leaving her with little hope of recovery.
