The first festival for Amazighe music is scheduled to take place on April 23 at the Palais des Congres in Montreuil (Parisian suburbs). The musical show will host a number of renowned singers including Najat Aatabou, Mohamed Rouicha, Fatima Tihihite, Said Mariouari, Raןs Aןt Baamrane, Biguigui, Raןs Me Barek Aissar and the Oudadene group.
In addition, the "Espace Luminre "of Boulogne Billancourt (another Parisian suburbs) will host on April 9 another evening of popular music, entitled "Celebrating Morocco". <I>EMarrakech</I> reports that this event will be attended by artists such as Abdelaziz Stati, Said Senhaji, Aziz Boufalja, Redouane Megri, Said Hourra and the group Abidat R' ma and will be hosted by the comedian Abdelkhalek Fahid (known as Miloud).
