The popular Lebanese band the Four Cats will return to the scenes after an absence of three years. The band has filmed a new song titled “Shawq Al Ayam” (Longing of the Days) in Lebanon under the direction of Sam Kayal. The song is written and composed by Ghassan Al Rahbani, who is also the manager of the band.
Ghassan has replaced three of the band members with new ones. The only remaining person from the previous band remaining is Elaine Orivilian. The new faces are Murial Ghanem, Christine Aqil and Robin Ashqar. For the first time singer Dalida is not part of the band. Dalida was one of the band’s oldest members and had started with the band back in 1998.
The band has been witnessing ongoing success since its establishment despite the constant replacement of its members.
The band has released six albums and starred in one Egyptian film titled “Asad wa Arba’ Qitat” (A lion and four cats) since it was first created.
