The stars of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceturned out for the eagerly awaited movie's New York premiere at Radio City Music Hall Sunday evening.
Cast members Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot,Holly Hunter and Diane Lane were all photographed on the red carpet. Will Smith -- who will be seen later this year in the supervillain ensemble picture Suicide Squad -- also attended the gala.
Set to open nationwide Friday, Batman v Superman boasts the first big-screen pairing of Batman/Bruce Wayne and Superman/Clark Kent.
"Fearing the actions of a god-like superhero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs," a synopsis said. "And with Batman and Superman at war with each other, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it has ever known before."
