Oscar-winning actress Geena Davis is getting married to a surgeon, the couple announced on Monday November 27th.
Davis, 43, and Reza Jarrahy, 29, became engaged in Los Angeles over the weekend. They have not set a wedding date, according to publicist Paul Bloch.
The couple met two years ago through mutual friends.
This will be the fourth marriage for the actress, who was previously married to restaurant manager Richard Emmolo, to actor Jeff Goldblum, with whom she starred with in The Fly, and Finnish director Renny Harlin, whom she divorced in 1998.
Davis, who now stars The Geena Davis Show on ABC television, won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for her 1988 performance in The Accidental Tourist and was nominated for another for her performance in Thelma and Louise (1991). - AFP
