With domestic violence on the list of reasons a married couple separated, it was no small feat for Lebanese journalist and show presenter George Kurdahi to have succeeded in bringing the two former lovebirds, who have three children, back together after they had been apart for over a year.
According to Sayidaty.net, the husband had submitted a request to George's program “Al Musamih Kareem” (To Forgive is Kind), expressing his desire to get back with his wife, whom he had physically hit in the past. An invitation was sent out to the wife to attend the program without prior knowledge of the reason she was invited. When she arrived to the set, she was shocked to see her husband on standing there as well.
The wife wanted to leave the instant she saw her ex on stage, but George managed to calm her down. While trying to convince her to return to her husband, the woman refused, accusing him of being too brutal.She had gone through enough domestic violence at his hands, causing her and their children endless heartaches.
By the end of the program, the wife insisted that her husband apologize to her in front of everyone, and he did by reciting a few lines of poetry followed by the words "I’m sorry". The couple made up and George felt fulfilled that he was able to bring two people back together.
