They say history is written by the victors but for Syrian songster, George Wassouf, he has already won a legion of fans and wealth of record sales. So, while the war is all around him, the singer has decided to write about his own life.
The book, titled 'Memoirs of Al Wassouf - Very Confidential', will include never-before-revealed details of George's private life including the real reason why he converted from Christianity to Islam.
Not content with penning his personal thoughts, the singer is also planning to release a series of short films documenting the different stages of his life as a new and modern way of producing an autobiography.
It is clearly a very important project for the star, who plans to fund it all himself but perhaps he needs some light-hearted diversion with the war raging on around him.
