UAE telecoms company Etisalat has pulled out all the stops to enlist Gerard Butler and a range of international celebs to star in its latest video campaign.
Gerard is best known for Olympus Has Fallen and playing beefcake Spartan King Leonidas in epic battle film 300, as well as lending his voice to Stoick the Vast in How to Train Your Dragon.
In the new video, he appears alongside Pakistani star Atif Aslam, Lea Salonga, Filipina singer and Broadway star of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and Arabs Got Talent actor Ahmed Helmy.
The stars are featured at a party, where an unknown actor outwits the celebrities at their own game - he outguns Gerard Butler and gets more laughs than Ahmed Helmy, but can he find a mobile tarriff in the UAE that Etisalat can't match or beat?
Etisalat is the latest Emirati company to feature a big name Hollywood star, following Etihad's footsteps in naming Nicole Kidman as a celebrity ambassador earlier this year.
