Not guilty: Ghada Abdel Razeq defends TV drama 'Ma Sibq Al Israr'
Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razeq pleads innocence in the dispute between lawyers and TV drama 'Ma Sibq Al Israr' (With Prior Insistency).

The drama erupted off the screen and outside of the court room when lawyers were left upset by the show's portayal of their profession, even threatening to file a lawsuit against its makers.

Ghada - who has been at the centre of the argument - has now spoken out. The actress said the show was just a project for TV and wasn't intended as an insult against lawyers.

Leading the defence, she argued that whilst her own character is corrupt this does not mean that all lawyers are.

The star said that all dramas should feature a conflict between good and evil, and if TV shows are no longer allowed to show the bad side of people they will stop reflecting reality.

Case closed!

Do you think lawyers have a right to be upset about this show?
