She is now one of the most famous models in the world.

But Gigi Hadid always seemed to be destiny for stardom.

Pictures from the now 21-year-old model's 2013 prom at Malibu High School have resurfaced from Twitter as she was ravishing in a cling red number.

She did enjoy time with her family before partying the night away as she was joined for a snap with younger sister Bella, mother Yolanda and stepfather David Foster.

Gigi - who was 18 at the time - looked ravishing in a clinging red Herve Leger short-sleeved dress for the occasion.

The knee-length frock featured a braided detailing around the hemline and neckline as she teamed it with a pair of brown heels.

Her signature blonde locks were on full display as they were worn down in a slight curl flowing over her shoulders.

She let her model looks shine with natural make-up including pink lip and light eyeshadow.

Bella, who was 16 at the time, wore a white mini dress along with beige open-toed heels.

No doubt Bella had a blast at her high school's formal dance as she even posted a collage from it.

The post had a definite scrapbook feel to it as there were scissor-like cutouts placed one on top of another.

Her mother Yolanda has since split with musician David as they announced their intention to divorce in December 2015. It still has yet to be finalised.

Gigi has made quite a name for herself post-high school as she is now one of the most sought-after models in the world.

She has strutted her stuff down the catwalk for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, been featured on the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and been featured in several high-fashion campaigns.

Just last week she was globetrotting as she promoted her new Tommy Hilfiger collection in Dubai, Tokyo and Shanghai.
