Finally, after months of negotiations, Lebanese singer Grace Deeb signed a five year contract with the music production company Rotana in Beirut. Grace is considered to be one of the best young singers in the Arab world and is expected to have a glamorous and successful future.

Grace is affected by the western style of singing, which makes her able to sing eastern songs with a western spice. Despite being in the singing world for the past ten years, Grace is busy these days working on her first musical album. Grace says that she has been suffering from other production companies, and she hopes that she will have the right start with Rotana.

The first album will contain classic songs sung in the Lebanese accent song entitled “Ana Habeit” (I fell in love), words by Marwan Khoury and tune by Boudy Naoum. The song is to be filmed in the form of a video clip in the upcoming few coming weeks.

Deeb had recently traveled to the United States of America to visit a number of music recording studios in order to become better acquainted with the new different styles of music in the West. The trip came as a first step in the production of her first album.

Grace is currently in the process of recording the songs for her new album that is set to be out in the near future. Grace's album will be a blend of Arabic, English and French songs using the right mix of eastern and western instruments.

Grace writes and composes her own songs ever she was a young girl. She has her own band that performs many different styles of music, which includes Arabic, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Mexican, and Latin. She had recently completed shooting a new music video for the hit single "Comme Toi" under the direction of Suhail Al Abdoul, but it was never released for reasons unknown.

Deeb has decided to make people more acquainted with her by creating her personal website. The singer felt that the best way people will know who she is and her latest news is by making a website that contains all the details there is regarding her career as a singer and her achievements, reported the London based Elaph.

Last year, Grace sang a duet with Lebanese singer Assi Hilani in the song "In Kan Alaya" (If It Was Up To Me), which witnessed a huge success and helped her popularity grow among Arab listeners. This song was performed live by both artists in various events and on Pepsi Musica.

Grace started her singing career at the age of four performing in school plays and singing in a church choir. Coming from a Lebanese family of musicians, Grace formed a band called "Strangers" and had her first song play on the radio at the age of sixteen. After taking time out to finish her studies in Journalism, Grace returned to singing. Today, not only does she organize weddings and private parties but she also performs at these events in Arabic, French, English, Spanish, Italian, and Greek. –Albawaba.com
