George Clooney's mom, Nina, has reportedly made a big reveal.
According to RadarOnline, the 55-year-old actor's wife Amal, 39, is expecting a boy and a girl. Nina added, 'It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told. How marvelous! My husband and I are extremely excited.'
This comes just after it was confirmed the human rights lawyer was indeed pregnant with twins and is due in June.
A source told InTouch in January that Amal, who is of Lebanese-British descent, 'is pregnant with twins: a boy and a girl.'
The couple 'feel like they’ve hit the family jackpot' in light of the big news, the source told the magazine.
'When George and Amal found out it was twins they were surprised,' the source said, 'but also a little scared because they both had said that one was enough.
'But the news that it was a boy and a girl made them both really happy... they can’t believe in just a few months, they’re going to have two babies.'
DailyMail.com reached out to George's rep for comment but has not heard back.
Nina previously said her son will make a 'great' dad with his wife of two years.
'We are extremely happy for George and Amal, and I cannot imagine two people who would be better parents,' the Gravity actor's mom gushed to UsWeekly on Friday of the soon-to-be parents.
'I think he'll be great, and I think she'll be a great mom!' Nina boasted.
She said that the Oscar winner and the attorney personally came to visit her and George's father, Nick, in order to deliver the happy news.
'We were with them and they told us together,' Nina, 77, explained. 'We were all together, and it was lovely. It was just a personal moment.'
The Talk's Julie Chen announced the couple's double joy on Thursday's show after confirming the news with the Ocean's Eleven star.
'Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins,' Chen, 47, said on the CBS show.
'Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!'
The talk show host added: 'What we did find out is that the twins are due this June.'
George's longtime friend and frequent co-star Matt Damon, 46, was thrilled for the couple and admitted he 'almost started crying' when he found out the news.
The Bourne Identity actor said: 'I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him. And I was like, "How far along is she?" And he goes, "Eight weeks."'
'I'm thrilled for him,' Matt told ET Canada. 'She's amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman. They're gonna be great. They're gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky.'
George and Amal met through mutual friends at a charity fundraising event in September 2013.
When their romance went public a source said: 'Clooney asked her out for dinner and she put him off twice, saying she was too busy, before accepting the third time. She was operating on the lines of "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen".'
The couple got engaged less than a year later in April 2014 and married on September 27, 2014 at Ca'Farsetti Palace - located in Venice, Italy in front of 100 guests.
