Producer Muhammad Al Sabki has denied recent rumors that state he is outraged at Lebanese singer/actress Haifa Wahbe for signing a contract with director Ahmad Al Mahdi to star filming her leading role in the new film “Baher Al Nojoom” (The Sea of Stars). The film is a production of the well-known international company Pepsi.

According to the website Mazika.com, rumors have it that Al Sabki is getting ready to sue Haifa for not following the terms of the contract between them. Haifa was supposed to be working on a film with Al Sabki and in the contract it is specifically stated that she is not to work with any other director or producer in Egypt.

Since the filming of the “Sea of Stars” will be taking place in Lebanon and not Egypt, then Al Sabki has no right to object.

The Story of the film revolves around a young man played by the famous Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury who loves musical arts and wants to relive the dream of building his grandfather’s theater. He tries to host performing musicians and these musicians are played by Haifa Wahbe, Carol Samaha, Ahmad Sharif and Rowaida Mahroqi.
