Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi has appeared in a new look during the holy month of Ramadan wearing a traditional Abaya, cloak. Haifa stressed that she feels it a sign of respect to dress in such a manner during the holy month.
Haifa revealed that she makes it a point during the holy month of Ramadan to fast and perform good deeds. She added that she is very religious at heart and her faith is a personal matter between her and God and she is not obliged to show it to people.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Haifa stated that she is a very good cook and makes sure the meals she prepares are healthy in order not to gain too much weight. She added that throughout the day she contemplates what meal to prepare and once it is time to eat she starts her meal by having dates, as was the tradition of Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him.
Haifa said that throughout the holy month she and her husband, Ahmad Abu Hashima, like to have friends and family over for Iftar, the break of fast during Ramadan, but they make it a point not to have the press present at their gatherings since it’s a private matter.
