YouTube has become the new hotspot for discovering fresh talent in the past few years. Many big names in Hollywood flock to the channel in search of the “next big thing.”
Now, our very own Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe has joined the star search.
Haifa can spot who's hot and who's not from a mile away, and she's discovered a Moroccan talent while surfing Youtube, by the name of Rashad Al Hijjawi.
Rashad has his own “online” album titled “Alb Jdeed” (New Heart), which witnessed a huge success rate by listeners.
The aspiring singer means serious business; he's composed thousands of songs which he funded from his own pocket.
Haifa was so impressed by Rashad's music that she couldn't wait to snatch him up before anyone else could. She secretly made an effort to seek him out and get down to business.
It was a dream-come-true for Rashad when Haifa offered to sing a duet with him, to feature in her next album.
Naturally, the rising star was overwhelmed with joy at the offer, and considered it as the perfect opportunity to introduce Moroccan music to other Arab countries.
