A Cairo court judge has forbidden Egyptian singer Hakim from leaving Egypt for failing to pay his two children’s private school fees. Hakim’s ex-wife, Marwa, was able to win a verdict that demands Hakim to pay the tuition fees of their children’s private school, which amounts to almost 10 thousand US dollars.

Marwa stressed that her children must go to a private school to maintain the prestigious lifestyle they have come accustomed to since they were born. When Hakim failed to pay the fees, Marwa immediately went to file charges against him in court and have a restraining placed forbidding him from leaving the country.

On a different note, Hakim has caused doctors at Qasr Al Aini hospital in Cairo to go into a rage when  he sang non-stop for three days while filming indoor scenes for his upcoming film “Ali Spicy”. Hakim, who began filming inside the hospital was shocked to see patients leave their rooms and gather around to watch him while filming and request that he sings for them.

The hospital premises turned into a nightclub with singing and dancing causing doctors to go into a rage that demanded an instant halt to the chaos. Doctors stressed that what was going on disrupts the conditions of patients and is inappropriate for a hospital, a matter that lead the administration of the hospital to refuse the continuation of filming.

Director of the film Mohammad Al Najjar was forced to stop filming of the scenes and relocate at a different hospital. On a similar instance, Hakim was forced to stop the filming after being slapped hard in the face by actor Jamal Ismael leading to severe bruises in his eyes. It was revealed that Hakim insisted that Jamal slap him with force to make the scene more realistic. Hakim kept redoing the scene repeatedly until Jamal’s slap was so strong resulting in a bruised eye for the singer.

Hakim revealed that in the past years he has been going through many different film ideas but finally decided on “Ali Spicy”, in which he plays the role of careless medical student whose passion is to become a singer and heal people with his music.

In the film, Hakim performs five different songs, two of which are sung as a duet with Summaya, who had also sung duets with Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar in his film “Bahibak Wi Ana Kaman”. Summaya has expressed her happiness at returning to the cinema, after an absence that lasted for over a year and a half. She added that the film holds humanistic meaning and is a romance musical combined with comedy.
