The famous Egyptian co-host Hala Sarhan is being sued in Egypt over an episode from her former television show “Banat Al Lail” (Night Girls).

According to the London daily Elaph, Sarhan is accused of insulting Egypt during the episode and has since been banned from entering Egypt.
Sarhan has not appeared on television since she separated from Rotana.

She was the co-host of another entertainment show called “Khams Njoom” (Five Stars), aired the Ramadan 2007.

Sources claim Sarhan may have a new offer to be a broadcaster on the Libyan satellite channel for US$3 million.

The Libyan satellite channel has signed a new contract with broadcaster Hamdi Qandil to air his political show “Qalam Rasas” (A Pencil), which started airing on the channel 26 March.

On the other hand, the Lebanese channel “LBC” has been negotiating with Sarhan for the past year to present the television show “Al Wajeh Al Akhar” (The Other Face), but have not reached an agreement.
