ALBAWABA - In a recent interview with Wired, Hally Berry answered the Web's most searched questions and admitted that working with Pierce Brosnan on Die Another Day really affected her.
Berry, who portrayed Bond girl Jinx, said Brosnan was the perfect gentleman and “restored” her faith in men during filming.
At 2:39, Berry began, "He will always be my Bond, always." I like Pierce Brosnan. In that film, he restored my trust in humanity. No one is more gentlemanly than Pierce Brosnan.”
Since 1995's GoldenEye, Brosnan has been 007 for seven years. Another day was his last. Berry wasn't originally interested in joining the Bond series, but her time on the film changed her emotionally and professionally.
Berry said, “Bond wasn't on my wish list, no, not to be in one, but I loved the movies, always.” "Being in one makes me feel like a part of cinematic history." Movies are iconic. Our history will always include them, and I'm pleased to have been a part of it, particularly with Pierce.”
Berry's Jinx captivated fans to such an extent that they discussed a spinoff film. After realizing Berry's potential, franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson wanted to extend Jinx's tale. Budgetary concerns led to the scrapping of plans.
