Libyan prominent musician Hameed Al Sha’iri has celebrated the success of revolutionaries in Libya for reaching the city of Tripoli where Libyan President Muammar Kaddafi had a strong hold over.
Hameed held a celebration with Libyans residing in Egypt in front of the Libyan embassy once the news that protesters reached Tripoli and Al Kaddafi was in hiding.
Recently, Hameed completed the recording of the new song “Hikayah Arabia” (An Arabic story) which is dedicated to revolutions around the Arab world. In the song, Hameed congratulates revolutionaries around the Arab world who are standing for their right to live free and in a democratic society. Singer Alaa Abd Al Khaliq sang the song alongside Hameed.
