Upon his arrival to Cairo, prominent Egyptian singer Hani Shaker announced that the dispute between him and prominent Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker, which had been going on for the past months, has finally ended. Hani revealed that the dispute ended as a result of a warm gesture from Fadel.

Fadel had called Hani during the filming of an episode of the program “Sandouq Al Dunia” (The World’s Chest) with television announcer Wafa Al Kilani, the latter was on.  During the call both artists expressed their admiration of the other and stated that the disputes between them was a result of a misunderstanding.

Hani stated to Fadel that he did not attack him in the press as was rumored. Fadel sung a song to Hani over the phone and personally invited him to dinner. Hani accepted the invitation and arrived at the desired place along with his wife and business manager.

During the dinner, Hani and Fadel surprised everyone by singing a duet. Hani thanked Fadel and invited him for dinner in Cairo.

Recently, Hani was honored by Egypt’s First Lady Suzan Mubarak at a prestigious charitable event earlier this month. The event was attended by over 1500 VIPs from Egypt and Jordan.

The singer performed a selection of his most popular hits and expressed gratitude for the award, which he considers to be a great honor. The singer donated his entire wage to charity.

Shaker had worked hard on making his big comeback to the scenes after an absence that lasted over a year and a half. The singer had held a grand performance at the Arabic Music Festival, in addition to concerts on New Year’s Eve as a means to pave way for his return.

Hani has as well signed with a new production company ‘Art Line Productions’ and his upcoming album will be produced by them and the distribution will be done by the company ‘High Quality’.

The singer has worked with some of the most prominent poets and composers.

Hani had joined the new production company after he announced that he will not join production company ‘Rotana.’
