Prominent Egyptian singer and the Prince of Arabic music Hani Shaker’s latest album received first place in sales in most Gulf States. On the show ‘Top Ten’ which is aired on Dubai channel Shaker’s Album ranked first place.
The news comes as a surprise since there wasn’t any type of advertisement following the album in any of the Gulf countries.
This is to say that the Arabic listener is searching for real art and for the music artist who performs real music. The decision came at the same time Shaker was visiting Abu Dhabi, where he was held guest on Abu Dhabi channel during “Amir Al Sho’ara” (The Prince of Poets) show, which was aired live.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, on a different note, Shaker is getting ready to film a new clip for his song “Kol Eli Dareta” (All What I Put Through). The new song is written by Hani Al Saghir and composed by Khaled Jnaidi and distributed by Hazem Ra’fat.
