Bellydancer and actress Fifi Abdo faced an embarrassing situation as Wafaa Al Kilani's guest on the talk show "Takhareef" (Scrapbooking) when the latter told her that the segments revolved around an hourglass ... and Fifi didn't quite understand.
Abdo did not understand what Al Kilani meant when she told her "You equated with the Hourglass" as the Egyptian TV host uses an hourglass in one of her show's segments, yet the Egyptian belly dancer did not seem to know that.
Fifi did not stop asking about Wafaa about the Hourglass, where it was, and what Wafaa means exactly. The Egyptian actress's reaction made Wafaa get into hysterical laughter since she failed to make her point.
Commentators on social media interacted with the episode, as many complimented Fifi Abdo's sense of humor while many saw that Wafaa Al Kilani should have explained the segment in the beginning of it and that she should have told Ffi about the hourglassesfrom the beginning so that she gets what is it.
In another story, Fifi Abdo denied that a big dispute happened between her and her family in the past when she decided to follow a career in dancing, stating that they got mad at first yet were always by her side after.
Fifi said that her parents could not prevent her from belly dancing as the law was on her side and she could make her own choices as she got older.
She also revealed that her parents came along with her to the shoot of the 1976 film "Al Resala" (The Message) alongside Anthony Queen.
Fifi has recently returned to belly dancing and she performed on New Year's eve alongside Egyptian singers Mohammed Fouad and Hakim yet she has been away from the small and big screens since 2015 as the latest series she took part in was "Ya Ana Ya Enti" (It's Either Me or You) that was screened during Ramadan season.
