Along with his co-stars Chris Tucker, newcomer Joe Alwyn, Steve Martin, Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Stewart, Diesel has begun filming his upcoming war film with Oscar-winning director Ang Lee.
For a film based on the war in Iraq, the Sahara desert is a choice filming location for the Hollywood production. Diesel posted a series of pictures from the set on his Instagram account - and some of them made us drool all over our keyboards!
The hunky 47-year-old (kindly) shared a picture of his ripped upper body, as well as a video telling his fans about plans to ride a camel for the first time ever. The "ship of the desert" meets the "hunk of the desert"!
Based on a photo of a Kasbah posted by Diesel, World Morocco News confirmed the filming location as Ouarzazate, Morocco, one of the world’s filming destinations.
An adaptation of the Ben Fountain novel "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk," the film's story focuses on 19-year-old private Billy Lynn and his company who survive a harrowing Iraq battle that is captured by news cameras. They are brought home by the US administration for a promotional tour, culminating in the spectacular halftime show of a Thanksgiving Day football game. Unbeknownst to all, there is turmoil as the group faces an imminent return to the war, reported ANI.
The film is expected to hit theatres in 2016, according to StepFEED.
