Zeina fuels Algerian-Egyptian tensions. Maybe she should just stick to calling Ahmed Ezz names?

Zeina's been on the warpath lately, what with trying to prove Ahmed Ezz is the father of her twins. The two have been battling it out in court since the twins were born 18 months ago, with Ezz insisting that he is going to appeal a recent court decision in Zeina's favor.

So it's no surprise that the Egyptian actress would turn to football to burn off some steam. Problem was, things got a little heated following a match between Egypt and arch-rivals Algeria, which resulted in Zeina insulting them according to Nawaret.

On the occasion of Algerian Independence, Zeina took to Instagram to apologize to all of Algeria, saying that she now admits that her behavior was wrong and hoped Algerians would be in the Ramadan spirit to find the will to forgive her.

Of course, it's not the first time she's let her hooligan side out. Back in 2009 during the nail-biting World Cup qualifying matches that had Egypt and Algeria tied for first place in Group C, Zeina joined in the calls for severing diplomatic relations between Egypt and Algeria.

The two countries have a long-standing rivalry that has often erupted in violence, so for Zeina to pitch in with name-calling was a bit provocative.

Maybe hold your fire for Ahmed Ezz in the courtroom next time Zeina?
