Mashrou' Leila have announced that their third full-length album, Ibn El Leil, will be releasing in a Deluxe Edition on July 21st. The album will release in CD, vinyl, and digitally on iTunes, and will come with extra tracks as well as the band's new single, "Roman."
The album will release July 21st.
Ibn el Leil originally released in 2015 to critical acclaim and proved popular among fans of the band.
Despite this, it proved controversial in Jordan, which barred, and then band, the group from playing in 2016 and 2017; the Jordanian government excused the ban by saying the music offended "Jordanian customs and traditions." Al Bawaba had a feeling this was not necessarily true, and talked to Jordanians about the ban last month.
