Neeraj Vora, the director and actor in works like Hera Pheri and Badshah, has apparently been in a coma for 10 months.
In October 2016, Vora suffered a heart attack and then a brain stroke. The accumulated trauma saw Vora transferred to the All India Institute of Medical Science.
He has since been moved to Firoz A. Nadiadwala's residence, in which a room has been converted into an ICU. There is a 24 hour staff on hand taking care of Vora, including a nurse and cook-boy.
Vora's upcoming film, a new entry in the Hera Pheri series, was put on hold in lieu of his recovery.
Vora is a widower and has no children.
