ALBAWABA - A video of country singer and four-time Grammy nominee Ingrid Andress went viral after she performed the American national anthem at the 2024 Home Run Derby on Jul. 15 but not for reasons fans were expecting.

Ingrid seems to have outdone Fergie's national anthem performance at the NBA six years ago which also went viral in a similar manner with social media across the internet poking fun at the Black Eyed Peas member.

During Fergie's performance, basketball players including Stephen Curry were seen trying to hold in their laughter as cameras panned towards them making the performance that much more entertaining.

The 2024 Home Run Derby took place at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Jomboy Media on X (formerly known as Twitter) said about Ingrid Andress' performance that, it's "Definitely one of the anthems of all time," which is a term used to say it's nothing special.

Ingrid Andress might've had a bad day during the performance as the video showcased her missing a few notes resulting in several sports media commentators taking to social media and writing their opinions there.

Awful Announcing on X wrote, "The national anthem ahead of the 2024 Home Run Derby on ESPN by four-time Grammy-nominated artist Ingrid Andress was interesting, to say the least..."

Moreover, a baseball player was seen trying to hold in his laughter during the performance while holding his cap down and turning his face when the camera panned to him.
