In the past couple of hours, singer Tamer Husni's name trended on social media after his surprise of posting a new song titled ‘Al Mawdou Feek’, ‘It's about You’ for a campaign to treat kids with cancer.
Tamer released his surprise during the first days of Ramadan. The song was very successful that it had more than one million views in just one day, in addition to getting lots of interaction from social media users in the past hours which overshadowed most of the other fellow Egyptian stars in Ramadan commercials.
Many viewers loved the song and the music video which was directed by Hadid Al Bagouri, and they especially loved the humane side which encouraged people to donate for the Children's Cancer hospital, and to visit the sick children.
Tamer’s success is unexpected because of the large number of other stars in Ramdan campaigns, and for the fact that he hasn’t released any new songs or acted in any new series the series “Farq Tawqeet’ (Difference in Time). The song and its video served as a compensation for his absence during this Ramdan season.
On the other hand, Tamer is waiting for Eid for the release of his movie “Al Bedaya’ ‘(The Beginning) alongside actor Akram Housni, in addition to preparing for many concerts outside Egypt and to release his new album in the summer
