Jack Maynard has spoken out about his removal from ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here in a candid interview on Thursday's edition of Good Morning Britain.
The YouTube star, 23, described the ordeal as 'scary' and 'horrible' as he revealed he was unaware of the details behind his swift exit.
The younger brother of pop star Conor Maynard was booted off the survival series in November last year following a number of offensive resurfaced tweets.
In the honest admission, the vlogger explained his thoughts on his exit from the show to breakfast hosts Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard, Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold.
'It was pretty horrible, it was quite scary to be honest as I got taken out first thing in the morning, I didn't know what was going on', Jack confessed.
'I went to the medical hut to be greeted by the producers who didn't really tell me much at the time and said there had been some accusations and they had to take me out of the show. I was panicking; I didn't know what was going on.'
'I got back to the hotel, I spoke to my manager and my brother, that's when I really found out what had happened, as I didn't look online as I didn't want to see any of it.'
He admitted: 'It was completely blown out of my control that's why I thought it was best to come straight back to London to address the whole thing and apologise.'
The television personality surprisingly revealed that he would return to the reality series: 'I think I would go back in to prove myself as I didn't get the worst of it when I was in there, maybe I deserve it who knows'.
Three days into the 2017 series, Jack was axed from the jungle show in Australia, after tweets that saw him using the N-word and homophobic slurs resurfaced online.
An I'm A Celebrity spokesperson said at the time of his departure: 'Due to circumstances outside camp Jack has had to withdraw from the show.'
It was also reported that Jack missed out on his £25,000 fee due to an 'unwritten rule' which states celebrities must remain in the jungle for 72 hours in order to receive it.
Jack apologised and said he was 'ashamed' after it was revealed he had repeatedly used the n-word and homophobic slurs in tweets posted between 2011-2013.
The tweets, obtained by one newspaper, showed the star casually using the racist term 'n*****', as well as calling fellow social media users by the homophobic slur 'f*****' and 'ret*****d'.
The Sun alleged that Jack posted photos of people with facial deformities with comments such as 'in his prime' and 'Ahahahaha! Sooo funny!'
The decision was said to be made last minute, with a show insider revealing that bosses agonised over until just a few hours before the show was due to air.
A source told The Mirror: 'Producers were locked in crisis talks for hours.
'ITV bosses were forced into a tense conversation about whether to kick out Jack. And they finally decided they had no choice but to let him go from the show.'
Jack's representatives told sources the reality star was apologetic and ashamed of his actions.
The statement read: 'Jack is ashamed of what he said in these tweets, many of which were deleted a long time ago and were sent in response to a neighbour who was bullying him.
'Jack was a lot younger when he posted them in 2012 but realises that age is no defence.
'He would never use that language now and realises that, as someone who was bullied himself, this kind of retaliatory, inflammatory, insulting language is completely unacceptable.'
An ITV spokeswoman told the website: 'Jack has issued a full apology and has deleted the tweets that he sent.'
Boasting a whopping 1,195,687 subscribers on YouTube, Jack was the first vlogger to enter the celebrity jungle.
Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo was crowned Queen of the Jungle in the latest series, beating out Hollyoaks' Jamie Lomas and comedian Iain Lee.
