Willow Smith surprised her mom Jada Pinkett Smith by reuniting her band Wicked Wisdom and taking the role of lead singer to celebrate Mother's Day.

The singer, 20, brought the star, 49, to tears as she ended this week's episode of Red Table Talk with a special tribute.

Willow told actress all the ways she's inspired her through the years before treating mom to a special performance in their driveway, where she was the frontwoman.

The young talent began her video saying: 'Hey ma, you might be a little suspicious recently because I've been cooking up something on the side for this beautiful day,'

Then she recalled her time touring with the Gotham star and her band in the early 2000s.

'When I was, I wanna say about 3 or 4, I went on tour with my mom and her band Wicked Wisdom. Wicked Widsom was lit,' Willow explained.

'When I was, I wanna say about 3 or 4, I went on tour with my mom and her band Wicked Wisdom. Wicked Widsom was lit,' Willow explained.

'This is the music that I grew up around. My mother was superwoman, she was a rock star, warrior and nurturer all in one. So unapologetically bada**.'

'She was a rock star and I was living for Wicked Wisdom,' Willow later went on.

Wanting to capture the mother-of-two's strength and power, Willow said: 'I felt like it was only right for me to pay homage to a time in her life because she showed me what womaning up really is about.'

Then the Whip My Hair singer revealed her gift as she walked into a music studio and said: 'I'm about to reunite with some of my mom's old band members to do one of my favorite songs by my mom, which is called Bleed All Over Me.'

Willow said it was only right to 'honor' her mom's 'bada**ness' through music and try and share 'a tiny little bit of the gratitude and the love you have given me my entire life and continue to give me.'

'You're just always gonna be superwoman and bada** b****,' she told her mom.

Then Smith invited Jada and grandma Adrienne 'Gam' Banfield-Norris outside where she'd had a mini-concert set up.

'Oh my god, what is happening right now?!' the Girls Trip actress screamed before Willow sailed into her edgy song.

It was clear that Jada was enjoying the music as she threw her hands up, danced and sang along.

Afterwards she came up for hug her daughter with tears in her eyes.

Willow's Mother's Day surprise comes after the second-generation celebrity came out as polyamorous.

She explained: 'With polyamory, I feel like the main foundation is the freedom to be able to create a relationship style that works for you and not just stepping into monogamy because that's what everyone around you says is the right thing to do.'

'So I was like, how can I structure the way that I approach relationships with that in mind? Also, doing research into polyamory, the main reasons why monogamous relationships - or why marriage - why divorces happen is infidelity.'

Willow's grandmother wasn't so sure, saying: 'For somebody like me, it feels like it's really all just centered around sex.'

Smith's previously disclosed she was bisexual and polyfidelitous (a form of non-monogamy) two years ago on her weekly Facebook Watch series.

'I love men and women equally and so I would definitely want one man, one woman,' the Calabasas native said at the time.

Since 2017, Willow has been in what appears to be a monogamous relationship with Tyler Cole, whom she met through her big brother Jaden.
