The street gossip and even the media led folks to believe that his deteriorating health over the years had finally had it’s way with the actor, but Head of the Egyptian Actors Union Ashraf Abdel Ghafour stated that he personally paid a visit to Jamil to confirm that the wide spread rumors are untrue, according to Sayidaty.net.
Ashraf called on the media to not publish news unless it was validated from legitimate sources, adding that rumors dealing with people’s lives can really do harm, and it is not ethical to create such lies.
