Contrary to rumored belief, Jannat doesn't have issues with her fellow thespian, Mustafa Shabaan. The Moroccan songstress was gossiped to have refused to work with the Egyptian actor in his past Ramadan television drama "Dactoor Amrad Nisa" (Women's Doctor), but Jannat assures she was never even nominated for a role in his show in the first place.
Laha Magazine let us in that Jannat actually is interested in pursuing acting, but she would prefer films over TV dramas. She recently received an offer to use her cinema skills in a new script, but she' still debating whether or not she should take it. That being said, she does believe now is the time for her to pursue an acting side to her career, especially since her recent music video for the song "Al Badi Athlam" with director Waleed Nasif was so successful. It takes more than just singing ability to make those clips come to life, so maybe she has what it takes to step into a new form of stardom.
At the very least, she'll be continuing her music video magic as she records a new song clip titled "Tool Al Tareeq" (All the Way) with director Waleed Nasif. Keep an eye out come winter holiday for that project!
