Jordan's first reality TV talent show competition, "Jordan star," aired on Friday evening (7 March) on Roya TV. The show welcomes people of both sexes and all ages to showcase their talents in front of a panel of judges, in the hope of winning the competition.
The first episode was received with a mixture of positive and negative criticism. Some liked the show's style and the opportunity it's given Jordanians to broadcast their talents, while others thought that contestants were a pure embarrassment to Jordan.
One Twitter user tweeted: "@saraaldalhi8535 I'm one of Roya TV's regular viewers and I loved the show."
While another user said: "Dear Arabs, Jordanians are messing with you, those aren't really their talents, they're just doing what they're doing to make you laugh."
