Kanye West returned to social media for the first time in nine months Wednesday when he reactivated his Instagram account.
West, who first joined Instagram in Sep. 2016, released a new postthat featured a card with the words "Happy Valentine's Day Babe" written on the front in marker. The rapper then followed up the image by posting a number of photos of former couples from throughout pop culture history.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Aaliyah and Tupac, Jennifer Lopez and Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Madonna and Sean Penn, Johnny Depp and Kate Moss and West's mother-in-law Kris Jenner with Robert Kardashian, were among the couples he posted.
West ended the barrage of photos by posting two images of himself and his wife Kim Kardashian together with the caption "Kimye." The pair recently welcomed their third child together, a daughter named Chicago.
The 40-year-old had previously deleted his Instagram and Twitter account in May.
