After a recent vacation, Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz is all set to start filming on a new film, teaming up with director Marwan Hamed.
Elaph has reported that Abdel Aziz and Hamed are working on turning the popular novel “Al Fil Al Azraq” (The Blue Elephant), by Ahmad Murrad, in to a movie. The rest are of the cast has yet to be decided, as Abdel Aziz is waiting to give the green light to the story line, which is expected to see the star playing the role of an alcoholic psychiatrist. The addiction reaches critical levels and see the leading man cut off from his beloved profession, and no longer able to work.
Details remain vague on the film, with no specific date to start filming being released, nor has the company to produce the film been decided.
