ALBAWABA - Amid mass confusion about the Kate Middleton photo shared by the Palace with news outlets and social media users alike deeming it "Fake" and "Photoshopped", the Princess of Wales just responded to concerned fans via Kensington Palace social media.
Kate said in the statement, "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing." The picture in question made quite a buzz online and was the first "Official" photo to be shared after going missing because of her surgical procedure.
She added in the post "I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother's Day. C.".

According to British royal sources, "minor adjustments" were made to the photo after being posted on the Kensington Palace social media accounts.
BBC reported that a total of five photo agencies deemed the photo "manipulated" resulting in issuing a "Kill notification" as they warned their customers of using it.

Moreover, Five days ago on Mar. 5, 2024, Kate allegedly appeared in photos that were leaked across social media platforms, but people struggled to identify if it was the actual Princess of Wales or not.
The rumors in question began on Jan. 16, 2024, after Kate went missing in December resulting in local and international concern over the whereabouts of the princess amid her abdominal surgery. Despite the photos surfacing, many users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) in suspicion of whether that was Kate or not, as her face was quite swollen and didn't look like previous photos before she went "Missing".
