The Iraqi singer Kathem Al Saher has left for Paris to put his final touches on the new Iraqi national anthem, a project he has been working on in complete privacy for a long time, according to ArabStars.Net.
The news was revealed by very close sources in Baghdad and Cairo, who said the Iraqi star had been working on the subject in complete confidentiality.
The words of the new national anthem are still unknown, but the sources revealed that the same ones would be used as in the old one. The music was worked out cooperatively by Al Saher and Omar Khairat, and was recorded in the Cairo Music Studio -- Albawaba.com
