Kathem Al Saher refuses to answer Jamal Salameh

Iraqi superstar Kathem Al Saher was shocked to hear that Egyptian composer Jamal Salameh had accused him of stealing a the rhythm for his famous song “Zideeni Ishqan” (Give Me More Love) from Salameh.


The Egyptian composer says that he composed a song for the Lebanese singer Majida Al Romi that was called “Samra Al Neel” (Dark Color Nile) and later on the rhythm was stolen by Al Saher.


According to the London daily Elaph, Al Saher was shocked to hear of such accusation ten years after he released his song. Al Saher says that he respects Jamal Salameh and his great work throughout the years.


Al Saher has refused to comment.  He said listeners should make the judgment.
