The rumor mills have been on overdrive surrounding the health scare of Yousif Shabaan. Conflicting reports on the nature of the Egyptian actor's illness have been spiralling since his hospitalisation for a rumored minor heart problem.
Some sources claim that Cairo's film star is in critical condition and is being treated at a private hospital in Egypt, while other reports paint a rosier picture, insisting Yousif is as healthy as a horse, putting the purpose of his hospital visit down to a routine checkup.
According to Laha Magazine, attempts have been made to reach Yousif Shabaan to get the verdict from the horse's mouth, but contact has yet to be made. Still, actor Sameh al-Suraiti, head of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate, reassured the fans that Yousif is in quite well and certainly not in the ICU of any hospital.
Sameh, also a good pal of Yousif, mentioned that he keeps in regular contact with his fellow actor friend who is just now not in any trouble.
