As Lebanon's Amal Alamuddin celebrated her wedding to Hollywood heartthrob in Italy this weekend, Egypt mourned the death of beloved comedian actor Khaled Saleh.

The brilliant actor passed away following a sudden heart attack in Egypt. He died from complications after undergoing open heart surgery at the Magdy Yacoub Facility in Aswan. He was 50.

As a sign of respect to the late actor, the makers of the last film he ever made, "Al Jazeera 2" (The Island 2), decided to cancel its opening premiere, which was scheduled to take place next week amidst a grand celebration.

However, according to Sayidaty.net, the film's producer, Mohammad Hassan Ramzi, denied reports that the film will be postponed from screening in theatres, stating that having the film screened will get more people to pray for Khaled's soul to rest in peace.

Mohammad added that huge posters of Saleh will be placed in theatres where the film will be screened as a way of honoring Saleh.
