Five men have been arrested after they were found burgling the home of controversial Egyptian director Khaled Youssef.
The five men had broken in to his home, attempting to steal a number of valuable items before police apprehended them.
The men had been watching the house for some time, which Youssef uses as a holiday home and rarely visits.
After breaking in through the kitchen, they grabbed a number of electrical items before the house guard arrived on the scene. He was promptly assaulted by the thieves but had already called the police. They arrived soon after and arrested the trespassers.
Youssef wasn't at home at the time.
